March 31, 1 to 4 pm -- Community Roleplayers Training: Teens, adults, and seniors are all welcome to develop improvisation and character building techniques needed for role playing, a powerful theatre tradition that addresses social and interpersonal issues with lively audience interaction. Late March: Online crisis counseling launch for teens and young adults. With grants from the Mental Health Association of New York State and the United Way of Tompkins County, we will launch a new crisis counseling service using internet-based online chat and a text-messaging service with a focus on serving teens and young adults.

April 28 & 29, 9 am to 5 pm each day -- ASIST Training: From the world-renowned LivingWorks educational series, ASIST is a two-day intensive, interactive and practice-dominated course designed to help caregivers recognize risk and learn how to intervene to lessen the immediate risk of suicide.
April 17, 9 am to 12 pm – SafeTALK Training: a workshop from the world-renowned LivingWorks educational series, uses discussion, short video dramas, and practice to enable you to identify persons with thoughts of suicide, ask about thoughts of suicide and connect those people with help

June 1 to 3 – “Talk Story” at the Ithaca Festival: Our Listening Tent at the Ithaca Festival will give you a chance to play storytelling games, listen and tell stories of your own.
June 26, 4:30 to 6 pm -- Reading and Writing about Grief Workshop, taught by Jill Swenson: This six week workshop involves reading and discussing memoirs about grief followed by writing, sharing and reflecting. Meets rough every other week. Call 607-272-1505 for information.
